Your OPA Living rug has been carefully crafted to bring warmth, texture, and comfort to your space. To help preserve its beauty and quality, we recommend the following care and maintenance tips:

Cleaning & Spot Care

  Vacuum your rug regularly using a suction-only vacuum or brushless attachment to remove dust and debris. Avoid using a beater bar, as this can damage the fibres.

  Attend to spills immediately — blot (do not rub) with a clean, dry cloth to absorb as much liquid as possible.

  For more stubborn marks, use a mild detergent mixed with warm water and gently dab the affected area. Alternatively, a spot washer can be used for deeper cleaning.

  Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, as these may discolour or weaken the rug fibres.
  

General Maintenance Tips

  Rotate your rug every few months to ensure even wear and prevent fading in areas exposed to sunlight.

  If placed under furniture, use furniture pads to prevent indentations or crushing of the pile.

  For high-pile or shaggy rugs, shake out the rug occasionally to remove trapped dust and maintain volume.
