Picking the perfect piece of furniture for your home can be tricky when you’ve got so many great options to choose from. Do you go for a brown fabric sofa or cream? A luxuriously soft velvet or a cloud-like bouclé fabric sofa? Do you match your current furniture or go for something completely new?

Materials and fabrics  

All of our sofas at OPA Living are crafted with carefully selected premium fabrics, so we can provide stylish fabric sofas that not only look and feel good but are durable too.  

If leather isn’t to your taste, you’re in luck. Our fabric sofas are available in nine different materials: 

Luxe velvet – Rich and indulgent, this super soft fabric will bring warmth to your sofa for the cold winter months. With a gentle sheen that catches the light, it looks elegant but is durable too. 

Bouclé – Made of woven, looped yarns, bouclé fabric sofas offer cloud-like softness and are so tactile you won’t be able to stop yourself from touching. These sofas are full of dimension and can provide texture to a flatter space. 

Linen – Natural and elegant, linen is a fabric favourite in hot climates for its light and breathable qualities. Over time, linen creates subtle creases for a lived-in look with plenty of charm. 

Kobi – Combining the qualities of linen and velvet, kobi fabric sofas have a gentle weave that not only looks beautiful but is designed for everyday wear.  

Palermo – With a two-tone texture, a Palermo chenille fabric sofa adds depth to a room and a versatile finish. But palermo isn’t style over substance. In fact, it’s highly practical and can be machine washed.  

Mythica – Plush and rich like velvet with a slubbed weave. Mythica fabric sofas are tactile and look oh so relaxing.  

Olympia – Natural with a linen-look, Olympia is a plain but versatile fabric with a simple weave and mild texture. It’s a refined material for modern homes. 

Luxe cord – Rich and soft like velvet, but with the subtle, ridged appearance of cord. This truly is the best of both worlds, for a sofa with timeless style. 

Fernando – This subtle-weaved fabric is versatile and strong. Practical for everyday use, it’s a reliable favourite with a clean, chic finish.

If a coated fabric sofa is high on your list, good news! ! On purchase, you’ll be given the option to add stain-resistant protection, plus a 5-year fabric durability warranty. 

Colours  

If you’re considering a creamy beige fabric sofa, a rich dark brown fabric sofa, or something altogether bolder, we’re sure to have the perfect colour for you in our extensive range of shades. 

Neutrals are available in all our fabric options, and most come in hues of blue and green too. Luxe velvet has the widest colour range on offer, though; choose between spicy mustards and burnt oranges, teal blues and oxblood reds. Just don’t forget to order your free fabric samples to see the colour in person! 

Other elements to consider  

Size – While it’s easy to assume or guess, we’d always recommend measuring your room, doorways, and hallways before placing an order. This will not only ensure you secure the correct-sized sofa for your space, but we can also deliver it to the room with minimal fuss.

Position – Think about the layout of your room. Yes, a luxurious, new fabric sofa may fit, but will it work comfortably in your space? Consider whether it’ll block windows, doors and radiators; you can also fit a coffee table or lamp; and, if you can see the TV when sat on it.

Shape – L-shape, U-shape, chaise, and loveseats: our luxe fabric sofas come in a variety of shapes, but only you can decide which one you’ll love.  

Maintenance – While our sofas come with a warranty, keeping your fabric sofa clean and plumped will ensure it looks its best for longer. Many of our sofas come with removable covers, but not all. So, make sure to shop our care kit for emergency spills and stains. 

Footstools – Should you add a matching footstool for additional seating or somewhere to put your feet up? 

Delivery and lead times  

We offer express delivery on selected fabric sofas. This means your new sofa could arrive in as little as two weeks. If you need your sofa even sooner, browse our selection of quick delivery sofas, which you’ll have within a week.
